Terms and conditions — MC Gordijnen

1. Scope

These terms apply to all quotations, deliveries and fitting services provided by MC Gordijnen to consumers and businesses.

2. Quotation and conclusion of contract

All information on this website — in particular “from” prices — is non-binding and does not constitute an offer. A contract only comes into existence through a written quotation issued after the measuring visit and your placing of the order.

3. Measuring and advice

Measuring, travel and advice are free of charge and without obligation. Production is based on the measurements we take on site. Where measurements are supplied by the customer, we accept no liability for deviations.

4. Prices and payment

The prices stated in the quotation apply and include statutory VAT. Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit is payable when the order is placed; the balance is due after fitting.

5. Delivery and fitting

Delivery and fitting dates are agreed individually. The customer ensures that the fitting location is accessible and clear. Delays for which we are not responsible extend the deadlines accordingly.

6. Made-to-measure goods and withdrawal

As our products are made to the customer's measurements, there is no right of withdrawal for made-to-measure items. Further details are set out in our right of withdrawal notice.

7. Defects and warranty

Statutory warranty rights apply. Obvious defects must be reported to us immediately after fitting. Customary tolerances in fabrics (colour differences between the sample book and the finished item, dimensional tolerances within the applicable standard) do not constitute a defect.

8. Retention of title

The goods delivered remain our property until payment has been made in full.

9. Applicable law

Dutch law applies, unless mandatory consumer protection provisions of the customer's country of residence require otherwise.
